Reflecting on Pubbing
It’s Monday which means to the filmies here in Dublin it is the day of rest. These past few days after so much drinking and partying we have all become very tired. Mainly I have been sleeping going to the gym and doing my homework. On Saturday it was Nick’s birthday so we all went over to his place, had a little party and then headed out on the town. I went ot a new pub/bar called...

Livin' in the Hood of Dublin
Well, tonight I realized that I live in the hood of Dublin. In fact these past few days have lead me to believe this. I will start with tonights excitement. Jac and I, being adorable, decided that we would have a little bit of pesto pasta, and ginger snaps for dessert. As we sat eating, and gazing out our big window that looks out Cows Lane we noticed a man in a track suit begin to wrestle with...

I have found out what I want to do after I am forty. For those who don’t know, I have always tried to plan ahead in life. Just have goals, to work towards. Graduate from NYU, work for SNL, write a TV show equivilant to Arrested Development or the Office, become very best friends with Tina Fey and Molly Shannon, and maybe slip having kids and getting married in there somewhere all by the...
Playing Catch Up On Last Week
I’m sorry, I’m horrible, I haven’t been writing recently because things have just been super busy! But I will try and recap and than I will do a new entry entirely for my this weekend because that is what it deserves.
When I got back from Cork, I promptly began to sleep, because I didn’t get much chance to sleep during the travels (buses are not, repeat NOT comfortable...
Cork and Kissing the Blarney Stone
This weekend from Friday to Sunday I visited the far off county of Cork. A group of us (Nick, Andrew, Brett, Jaclyn, Monica, Lexi, and I) woke up at 8:30 and hustled our sleepy selves to the bus station to catch the 10 am bus. That bus was 5 hours and I was sleepy enough to forget my ipod (for those of you who are prone to motion sickness, you can feel my pain here) Luckily Lexi was kind enough...
Fire Alarms, Open Mic, and Sweet Sweet Success
Success! This morning was the third time I went to the immigration office to try and get out of paying a stupid “mandatory fee” that nobody else has had to pay. So Susanne (the head of the program) and Lexi came to give me support and I am happy to say that they finally gave me a break and stamped my passport and let me go without paying 250 dollars! Life is beautiful.
Lexi and I...
Liffey Swim, Bacon Pep, Dun Laoghaire, Ultimate...
I did a lot, so I will try to be brief. After the last entry I went back to Queen of Tarts, and ate a roasted tomato and goat cheese tart. Amazing! Than after doing some homework and taking a lovely walk with Lexi, Sarah, Anu and I went out to dinner, and enjoyed walking around the pubb happy area on Friday. We saw a sculpture of a dog made of sand. I thought it was funny.
After that Lexi...
